Sports Recap

Sports Recap

These past few months have held several important sporting events from the College Football National Championship (RIP), Super Bowl, and March Madness. So in honor of the last blog post, I’m going to highlight the important sports moments from January-now.

Obviously, the first event occurred on the first day of 2018, and if we’re honest, was probably the best day of our lives. Rose Bowl. Georgia vs Oklahoma. Double overtime.

The National Championship (we’re not going to talk about the outcome of the game, because it doesn’t really matter).

The Super Bowl where everyone was just happy the Patriots didn’t win again.

Signing Day and a #1 class for Georgia. A great day indeed.

The Winter Olympics:

Georgia won a National Championship this year!!!! Women’s track brought it home.

March Madness. Because we all expected Loyola-Chicago to make it to the Final Four.

Finally, we have the Masters. As a Georgia fan, I would have preferred anyone else to win besides Reed, but here we are.

And here’s hoping there are plenty more exciting sports moments to come (maybe if we’re lucky, Georgia will be apart of some of them).
