Movie Review: The Internship

I chose to watch this movie because I enjoy comedies. I found it interesting that a movie was made about an internship experience.

This movie is about two middle-aged guys that get fired from their sales jobs, so they seek an internship opportunity with Google. Billy (Vince Vaughn) was the one to discover the Google internship, and set up an interview for himself and Nick (Owen Wilson). They get selected into the internship program due to Google being a company that welcomes diversity.

Upon starting the internship, they are faced with adversity, as their team is made up of “misfits.” All of them have their own personal issues. Over the course of the film, Nick and Billy bring the team together and show their worth. Eventually, they are all hired by Google.

I really like the story line of this movie. The acting was pretty good. I enjoyed the outside the box thinking of having a film centered around an internship. This film gets a 7.1/10 rating from me.

I learned that even when the odds are against you, you should try your best. Hard work and thinking outside the box may pay off. Don’t be afraid to be different.
