Do You Want to Win Free Experiences?

Tags :

This past weekend, I traveled to Denver, Colorado with my best friend and attended the very first year of Denver’s new music festival, Grandoozy. We flew out Friday morning and checked into The Curtis, a very nice, themed hotel right in the middle of downtown Denver. After settling in and getting ready, we rode over to the festival, picked up our 3-day VIP wristbands from will-call, and headed right in. Once inside, my friend and I walked up to one of the main stages, where we were ushered backstage and into the trailer of one of the bands performing, Tennis. In the trailer, we hung out with the musicians, talked about life and music, ate some delicious chocolate cake, and took pictures together. Before parting ways, Alaina Moore, the lead singer of Tennis, put her number into my phone so that we could “stay connected” after the weekend was over.

The rest of the weekend was amazing and included close-up performances by artists, including Kendrick Lamar, Florence + The Machine, The Chainsmokers, Logic, 6Lack, Young The Giant, Stevie Wonder, and more all thanks to the VIP viewing areas at each of the main stages. Come Sunday night, we were not ready to leave. We were having so much fun! Sadly, our flight left the next morning, and we arrived back in Atlanta around noon on Monday.

The best part of the trip? The fact that all of it was free! Our airfare, hotel, and weekend VIP passes to the Grandoozy festival were all included in the experience I won via a company called Propeller.

Propeller is a company whose mission is to engage the community, increase social awareness, and help make an impact on the world we live in. Through partnerships with non-profit organizations, Propeller is able to offer the chance to win a variety of different experiences, like music festivals and trips. Each experience requires you to “buy” entries into the contest using points you have earned on the site. To earn points, all you have to do is complete socially conscious actions. For example, watch eye-opening videos, volunteer, sign petitions, join newsletters, etc. and you will gain more and more points that can then be used to increase your chances of winning those free experiences. So, not only will you be impacting your community and excellent causes around the world, but you might win something amazing in the process ⎼ a win-win for everyone!

Propeller is super easy to use and 100% legit. I can personally vouch for how awesome it is!

Wow! This is super cool. I have never been one to enter in Instagram “giveaways” because (1) I don’t want to bother my friends and family with irrelevant notifications and promotional posts and (2) I feel like I will never be able to win considering how many people enter in the contests. Propeller seems to have done something super powerful: they are able to educate consumers about important issues, and then give them the opportunity to win something in return. Although some people may think it is “sad” that we have to incentivize people to learn, I think it is brilliant, because the more informed people are, the better off we could be as a collective. I’ve never heard of Propeller, but I will definitely be looking into it now!

This sounds amazing. I think companies like Propeller are some of the best at marketing, because anyone who wins these experiences plus everyone who hears about it associates the brand with a great attitude. The fact that you get points by doing good is the best part for this company. The world, individuals, and Propeller benefit!
