Wendy’s has employed the strategy of humorous tweets to influence millennials who value big companies acting like they would on social media. The target of Wendy’s latest tweet was Scott Frost, the head coach of Nebraska when his team got dominated by Michigan this past weekend. Wendy’s tweeted out the following after the loss:
This tweet obviously rubbed Nebraska fans the wrong way with several responding with anger at the tweet.
