Dime Trap: How well was this album marketed?

It is no secret that T.I. has a close relationship with the trap. His second studio album titled “Trap Musik” tickled the nose of what would later become the Atlanta Trap Music Movement. With the release of his latest body of work “Dime Trap”, T.I.’s team has done an excellent job marketing this album. A few singles were released before the album’s drop date, and one of these is the controversial song “The Weekend” ft. Young Thug. This song’s music video features a Melina Trump look-a-like who removes a few articles of clothing. This video release was teased on Twiter and Instagram (IG) and it not only gained the attention of fans but gained the attention of the federal government. We all know that 45 is the epitome of “twitter fingers” and teasing the video on Twitter where T.I.P.’s marketing team knew that it was going to gain attention by the white house team was a fabulous idea.

Also, the Natural Museum of Trap History (not the actual title but that is what I call it) opened around the time the album was released and this was sponsored by TIP. This museum features an escape room and exhibits highlighting artists like Gucci Mane & 2 Chainz.
