It’s spooky season and Hulu is here to celebrate the moment. They have created #Huluween which is a month-long with recommendations tailored to your viewing tastes and fan favorites organized into categories ranging from “classics” such as American Psycho to the “Spooky not Scary” Buffy the Vampire Slayer and the “Scary as Hell” Jigsaw just to name a few.
The curated selection of movies include some Hulu originals and some short films from up-and-coming filmmakers.
This experience is not restricted to the website alone but is represented on their social channels especially instagram and twitter. Youtube also has all the featured short films so it still gives those who aren’t paid subscribers a little taste of what they’re missing on the actual platform.
Halloween is my favorite holiday and is something I look forward to every year. Hulu really killed it with this campaign and as a paid subscriber I am throughly enjoying the procrastinating school work and the fact that it’s because of Halloween is the icing on the cake.
