The Social Network starring Jesse Eisenberg, Andrew Garfield, and Justin Timberlake explores the creation of social media sensation, Facebook. The movie examines the highs and lows the creators experience including drama lawsuits and the rage that ensues from the declarations that Zuckerberg stole the idea of Facebook completely. The drama from the initial creation of Facebook could possibly mimic the drama caused in real life by its very existence. Constantly knowing what everyones doing, who everyone is dating, who’s getting left out – the very platform itself, social media itself is a recipe for unwanted attention and nosey followers.
Overall, I really enjoyed this film and would definitely recommend it to a friend. I give this film 3 out of 5 stars.
