Who is Christopher Tuff? If you look at his LinkedIn you will find that he is the author of a book called The Millennial Whisperer and the Director of Content Marketing and Partnerships at 22Squared. However, Chris is so much more.
Let’s start from the beginning. He is originally from Boston, but was introduced to the south in the 7th grade when he moved to Atlanta. After graduating from Vanderbilt, Chris got his start in this crazy world as one of the original members of the advertising agency, Moxie. At Moxie, Chris was presented with a challenge. He was told that if he could create a viral video then he could have his own department centered around “trendspotting”. So that is just what he did. Chris went viral after pretending to sprain his ankle while proposing to his wife. Seven million views and a Good Morning America interview later, and identical twin, Chris, married his wife who is also an identical twin. Their wedding photos were even worthy of the WSJ front page. Since then Chris continues to chase his passions. Whether it is being a leader at 22Squared or publishing his very own book. According to Chris, “I think life should be a relentless pursuit of passions.” His most recent passion has taken the form of a book called The Millenial Whisperer. This book is all about how companies can “recruit, retain, and motivate” the largest generation, millennials. According to Chris, “this book will change the world”. I personally cannot wait to check it out.
I will leave you with Chris’s word of advice on how to make it in the agency world. He says to, “make sure your passions align with a yearning to constantly be learning and pushing.” As you can see, Chris is more than his LinkedIn profile. He is a unique and passionate go-getter, and he could teach us a thing or two.
